What you will do

• Lead customer use case discovery and requirements workshops to design tailored technical solutions.
• Create and present technical roadmaps, proposed architectures, and business outcomes to client technical teams.
• Define the technical selling approach for accounts and collaborate on penetration and success strategies.
• Act as a technical evangelist through blogs, meetups, and industry events.
• Mentor associate engineers and contribute to the creation of internal enablement materials.
• Translate customer feedback into actionable product roadmap items for the product team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical Field.
• 3-5+ years of professional experience in a similar solutions engineering or pre-sales position.
• Proven expertise in Enterprise Software and Big Data environments.
• Solid hands-on experience with Generative AI and strong Linux skills.
• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Java or .NET.
• Must be based in or able to work from Sydney, Australia.

Nice to have

• Deep knowledge of the Big Data ecosystem (HDFS, YARN, Spark, Impala, Kudu, Solr).
• Experience with streaming technologies such as Kafka, Flink, or NiFi.
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases (HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB) or EDW (Teradata, Netezza).
• Experience with Data Science and ML frameworks including Python and R.
• Familiarity with integration products like Talend, Informatica, or Tableau.
