TL;DR
DevOps MSSQL Administrator (Operation & Automation) (MSSQL/Windows/PowerShell): Administering and maintaining MS SQL Server and Windows Server environments with an accent on automation, security compliance, and production incident/change handling. Focus on high availability (Always On Availability Groups/WSFC), performance tuning, and building CI/CD and operational runbooks using PowerShell, Python, Azure DevOps, and Stonebranch UAC.

What you will do
- Administer and maintain MS SQL Server and Windows Server environments.
- Automate operational tasks and manage CI/CD pipelines using PowerShell, Python, Azure DevOps, and Stonebranch UAC.
- Ensure security compliance: manage access rights, perform patching, and run audits.
- Handle tickets (L1/L2 triage), analyze logs and connectivity/service/performance issues, and manage SLA/SLO.
- Plan and implement changes (CHG) in production, maintaining documentation and runbooks.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server administration in a production environment.
- Practical knowledge of SQL Server 2016/2019/2022 (backup/restore, permissions, maintenance, monitoring, performance tuning).
- Experience with high availability mechanisms, especially Always On Availability Groups and WSFC.
- Good knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and core services: AD, DNS, GPO, certificates, and service accounts.
- PowerShell skills for automating administrative tasks.
- English: B2+ level and willingness to work shifts and participate in on-call duties.
Nice to have
- Experience with Stonebranch UAC, Azure DevOps, and data orchestration tools.
- Knowledge of Active Directory/GPO/DNS/DHCP and IIS.
- Familiarity with Microsoft HPC Pack and SCOM.
