What you will do

• Provide daily commentary on the Oil and Gas and Power & Utilities sectors.
• Identify information, research, and news that is material and actionable for clients.
• Write concise comments so investors can quickly understand market impact.
• Deliver time-sensitive commentary and deeper observations on sector dynamics.
• Collaborate with the analytical team to create client content.
• Maintain an early start schedule to publish detailed summaries before the North American market open.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in a market-focused role (analyst, trader, PM, equity/currency/bond sales, economist, etc.) or demonstrated working knowledge of US equity markets.
• Demonstrated understanding of equities and/or stock markets through professional or academic experience.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Ability to quickly digest and analyze information.
• Strong interest in financial markets.
• Familiarity with commodities (oil and gas).
• Experience or in-depth knowledge of Oil and Gas and/or Power and Utilities sectors.
