What you will do

• Fully manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) process for client renewals and new products, from requirements gathering through final analysis and recommendations.
• Conduct carrier/vendor financial analysis and support proposal development with data-driven insights.
• Assist with carrier negotiations to secure competitive pricing and value-added solutions.
• Partner with carrier representatives to ensure proposal data accuracy and integrity.
• Develop and maintain market information in internal databases and support timely decision-making.
• Create client-facing reports and presentations for proposal responses and contribute to special projects as needed.

Requirements

• Knowledge of group insurance, including medical, dental, vision, HSA, HRA, pharmacy, life, disability, and voluntary benefits.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze data, recognize analytical patterns, and effectively present data.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, plus excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple changing client priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Finance, Math, Accounting, or related field preferred).

Nice to have

• Experience in the healthcare industry working for a broker or consultant.
• Experience with database applications.
