Senior Software Engineer (C++ & Swift)

Location: Cambridge, United Kingdom; hybrid attendance in the Cambridge office is required two days per week

What you will do

• Build, design, and maintain the macOS codebase using modern C++ and Swift.
• Lead and contribute to projects ranging from rapid prototypes to structured platform development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, high-quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high-quality tests, documentation, and developer enablement materials.
• Advance methods for defending against unknown cyber-attacks.
• Develop and mentor team members across multiple programming languages and technology areas.

Requirements

• Senior-level software engineering experience with strong modern C++ skills.
• Experience with Swift or a strong interest in deepening Swift expertise.
• Knowledge of Unix and macOS development environments.
• Ability to write production-quality code, reason about complex systems, work autonomously, and make sound technical decisions.
• Knowledge of or strong interest in cybersecurity and malware forensics, plus experience in statistical analysis of static or dynamic systems.
• Proficiency with Docker and familiarity with cloud computing environments.
