What you will do

• Develop robust systems for complex US address parsing and standardization.
• Innovate mechanisms to transition geolocation precision from areal to specific parcel or rooftop levels.
• Create validation loops to verify geocoded points against terrestrial datasets.
• Benchmark third-party geocoding services against in-house solutions.
• Evolve automated confidence scoring systems to measure data health.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to transition geospatial features from experimentation to production.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in geospatial data science.
• Mastery of USPS CASS/NCOA processes, TIGER data, and US postal system nuances.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for geospatial analysis.
• Experience with PostGIS, GDAL, QGIS, and spatial data formats like GeoJSON and GeoParquet.
• Strong understanding of spatial libraries including Geopandas, Shapely, Libpostal, and Valhalla.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work history.
• Experience with BigData stacks such as Apache Spark.
• Familiarity with cloud-based spatial analytics platforms like Carto.
• Knowledge of geospatial pattern matching and recognition algorithms.
