What you will do

• Engineer and implement security controls across compute, network, and storage infrastructure.
• Support secure system architecture design for Navy combat and mission systems.
• Harden systems in accordance with DoD and Navy security requirements.
• Conduct technical vulnerability analysis and remediation across infrastructure components.
• Integrate security tools including EDR, SIEM, and logging pipelines.
• Collaborate with system engineers and DevSecOps teams to embed security into system design.

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance required.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• 3–5 years of cybersecurity engineering experience in DoD or regulated environments.
• Hands-on experience with network architecture, Windows/Linux hardening, and virtualization.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with identity solutions such as Active Directory, PKI, and RBAC models.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting Navy combat or shipboard systems.
• Familiarity with PEO IWS programs or tactical C4I systems.
• DevSecOps or CI/CD security integration experience.
• Knowledge of embedded systems or hardware-level security.
• Security+, CISSP, or comparable DoD 8570/8140 certification.
