C++ Intern (Content Pipeline)

TL;DR

C++ Intern (Content Pipeline): Work in the Content Pipeline team to generate data formats and runtime streaming for simulator client devices, including image generation and mission function systems, with an accent on integrating software components for high-realism simulation environments. Focus on optimizing, debugging, and validating C++ software in a Windows + Visual Studio workflow, including Unreal Engine 5 integration, networking-streaming, and multi-threading concepts.

Location: Montreal (St. Laurent), hirify.global Montréal. Internship will be carried out in hybrid mode.

What you will do

• Develop and integrate software components for simulator client devices (e.g., image generator and mission function systems).
• Use C++ in a Windows environment with Visual Studio and contribute to continuous improvement of hirify.global software and development processes.
• Optimize, debug, troubleshoot, and add value to existing software products.
• Develop tests and debugging tools to validate and integrate technologies in lab and desk environments.
• Work with networking-streaming and multi-threading concepts and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and meet the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) requirements; complete and return the CGP form and provide required identity/work-permit and police clearance documents.
• Knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 basics.
• Good knowledge of object-oriented development in C++ on Windows.
• Familiar with Visual Studio IDE (VS 2022 or higher).
• Familiar with networking-streaming and multi-threading concepts.
• Fluency in spoken and written French; functional English level.
