What you will do

• Operate, monitor, and enhance security tools and controls within AWS and Azure environments.
• Govern cloud security standards, architectures, and best practices.
• Partner with cloud engineering teams to identify, assess, and mitigate platform risks.
• Lead cloud-focused incident response and security event analysis.
• Develop playbooks and procedures to improve team response to cloud-based incidents.
• Upskill the broader team in detecting, triaging, and responding to cloud security events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience or 9+ years of equivalent hands-on IT experience.
• Strong foundation in cloud security, including AWS and/or Azure security best practices.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts such as threat detection, incident response, or risk management.
• Ability to communicate complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

• Hands-on experience with cloud-native security tools and architectures.
