What you will do
- Recruit, onboard, and manage a team of freelance pharmacist writers and reviewers.
- Write, edit, and review drug and health content for clinical accuracy, clarity, and tone.
- Translate complex clinical information into engaging, easy-to-understand content for a lay audience.
- Ensure content aligns with editorial standards, style guidelines, and SEO best practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with SEO, product, and marketing teams on content initiatives.
- Review and update existing content to ensure timeliness and clinical relevance.
Requirements
- PharmD or equivalent pharmacy degree required; active pharmacist license preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in pharmacy practice, medical writing, or editing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex clinical data.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply clinical guidelines and primary literature.
- Must be based in the United States.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in health information.
Nice to have
- Experience writing or editing drug or patient education content.
- Experience working with freelance writers or cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and digital content strategy.
