What you will do
- Contribute to the humidification technology roadmap by identifying and maturing future technologies for device platforms.
- Translate user, clinical, business, and regulatory needs into system requirements and technical solutions with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Define system architectures for humidification technologies, including sensing, control, monitoring, and safety strategies.
- Develop and optimize advanced humidification and thermal management technologies, including closed-loop control approaches.
- Lead system-level risk management, hazard analysis, and safety control definition across the development lifecycle.
- Plan and execute laboratory investigations to evaluate humidification performance, understand system behavior, and reduce technical uncertainty.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Chemical, or Biomedical engineering (or related discipline).
- 2–5 years of experience in systems, product development, or engineering roles, ideally in medical devices or other regulated industries.
- Understanding of thermal systems, fluid flow, sensing technologies, and control systems (or related engineering domains).
- Familiarity with systems engineering practices: requirements management, risk management, verification, and traceability.
- Experience collaborating across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with engineering development tools such as JIRA, Jama, and Confluence.
- Exposure to medical device development processes and regulatory frameworks.
