What you will do

• Drive complex system design and architecture in collaboration with the engineering team.
• Develop and maintain highly scalable, reliable, and developer-friendly microservices APIs.
• Perform code reviews and mentor developers on best practices and technical implementation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into sustainable business applications.
• Ensure end-to-end execution of compliance initiatives, including HIPAA/PHI security standards.
• Improve development processes, procedures, and engineering vision.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US
• 7+ years of software development experience, preferably with secure, scalable web applications.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, and Hibernate.
• Experience with cloud technologies, specifically AWS.
• Solid relational database skills, including design and optimization (MySQL or PostgreSQL preferred).
• Experience with microservice architecture, CI/CD, and container technologies like Docker.

Nice to have

• Experience with front-end development using React, Sass, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Ruby and RoR frameworks.
