What you will do

• Design and maintain the Market Data Platform, managing the full path from raw exchange feeds to research-ready data.
• Decode and normalize raw exchange feeds (pcap, UDP, ITCH, FIX) into a unified canonical model.
• Manage the Apache Iceberg-over-S3 lakehouse, including partitioning, schema evolution, and storage cost optimization.
• Develop shared access services and libraries for schema management, data contracts, and lineage.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and CI/CD pipelines on Kubernetes to ensure platform reliability.
• Collaborate with Quant Research, Data Science, and DevOps teams to translate requirements into scalable platform capabilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building production-grade data systems and lakehouses from scratch.
• Expertise in Apache Iceberg, Delta, or Hudi, and familiarity with Apache Arrow.
• Strong proficiency in Python (Polars/PySpark) and advanced SQL; Rust is a strong plus.
• Experience with market data protocols (ITCH, FIX/FAST) and order-book reconstruction.
• Solid understanding of Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS S3.
• English fluency required for documentation and international collaboration.
