What you will do
- Develop and maintain customer-facing web applications using Next.js and Strapi, ensuring performance, scalability, maintainability, and UX.
- Design scalable front-end architecture with SSR/SSG and modern web practices.
- Lead Strapi CMS architecture: content modelling, API customization, workflow optimization, and plugin integrations.
- Monitor and optimize website performance, usability, accessibility, SEO, and conversion; proactively resolve issues.
- Drive automated testing adoption using Jest and Cypress (unit/integration) and improve engineering standards and documentation.
- Mentor a team of front-end developers: code reviews, stakeholder alignment, workload planning, and delivery management.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional web development experience, including 3+ years in technical leadership/lead developer/engineering leadership.
- Proven experience delivering modern customer-facing web apps with React and Next.js.
- Strong hands-on experience with Strapi CMS (content modelling, API development, plugin integrations, customization).
- Expert-level JavaScript and TypeScript; strong automated testing experience with Jest and Cypress.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and headless architecture; solid understanding of SSR/SSG, SEO, accessibility, and responsive design.
- Must have appropriate rights and documentation for employment in Cyprus.
