What you will do

• Collaborate with engineering teams on threat models, design reviews, and security architecture.
• Develop and maintain security patterns for infrastructure as code and container hardening.
• Lead the automation and integration of SAST, DAST, and SCA tools into CI/CD pipelines.
• Triage vulnerability and compliance testing results to generate actionable remediation stories.
• Mentor engineers on secure coding practices and application security principles.
• Participate in on-call rotations for incident triage and security response.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident.
• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with a focus on production systems.
• Proficiency in cloud infrastructure security and container-based deployments.
• Experience with software supply chain security and secrets management tools.
• Strong understanding of API security, authentication (OAuth 2.0, OIDC), and applied cryptography.
• Experience with modern CI/CD pipelines and security compliance frameworks.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code principles.
• Familiarity with FedRAMP, NIST SP 800-53, or government compliance frameworks.
• Experience working in defense technology environments.
