Lead Level Artist

Location: On-site in Yerevan, Armenia

What you will do

• Collaborate with Level Designers and the Art Director to maintain visual quality and gameplay clarity.
• Model modular environment pieces, props, terrain elements, and hero assets.
• Perform set dressing, including composition, prop-based storytelling, decals, and scene staging.
• Build and polish level art in the game engine on a daily basis.
• Optimize environments for LODs, draw calls, and memory without compromising visual quality.
• Support team development through constructive reviews, knowledge sharing, and hands-on mentorship.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in environment art or level art for games.
• Portfolio demonstrating personal environment modeling and set dressing work.
• Strong modeling skills with Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max.
• Proficiency with Unreal Engine 5 or Unity.
• Experience with PBR, Substance texture creation, and optimization.
• Willingness to remain hands-on with modeling, set dressing, and level building rather than focusing only on management.
