Regional Intelligence Liaison Officer South-East Asia (SEA)

Location: Tainan, Taiwan; the role is described as Taipei, Taiwan based and focused on South-East Asia.

What you will do

• Lead enterprise-wide investigations across South-East Asia into insider threats, crime, sabotage, subversion, terrorism, and industrial espionage.
• Coordinate physical and digital intelligence operations protecting personnel, infrastructure, business continuity, and physical resources.
• Collect, validate, analyze, and disseminate all-source intelligence concerning foreign intelligence entities, criminal groups, and other threat actors.
• Monitor geopolitical and economic trends, cultivate regional partnerships, and provide actionable intelligence for executive decision-making and strategic planning.
• Articulate regional threats and work with the Head of the Intelligence Fusion Centre to implement mitigation strategies and security policies.
• Maintain situational awareness, develop a common operational picture, and report on counterintelligence activities across South-East Asia.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent in intelligence, security management, criminal justice, counterterrorism, law enforcement, counterintelligence, international relations, political science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in defensive and offensive counterintelligence and intelligence-led operations, including specialized security or force protection experience in law enforcement, the military, or a government intelligence agency.
• Advanced knowledge of security electronic systems, access control, intrusion detection, Technical Surveillance Countermeasures, and data analysis.
• Advanced knowledge of Advanced Persistent Threat actors and other stealthy threat actors, as well as espionage vectors, social engineering, and infiltration.
• Experience with risk, threat, and vulnerability assessments, force protection planning, threat modeling, and intelligence community analytical methodologies, standards, and software tools.
• Excellent communication, influencing, negotiation, stakeholder management, planning, prioritization, and leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Leadership experience in counterintelligence or HUMINT intelligence operations.
• Knowledge of the intelligence cycle, intelligence fusion, and multidisciplinary analysis.
