Technology Solutions Consultant

Location: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan, or Osaka-shi, Japan. Hybrid working model combining work from home with on-site presence at client or hirify.global offices. Travel to global offices and client sites may be required.

What you will do

• Lead teams designing and implementing technical solutions for client business challenges.
• Own solution architecture, technical deliverables, project quality, and scalability.
• Lead one or more projects across discovery, requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and operations.
• Manage project planning, staffing, people growth, risk mitigation, and coordination with global counterparts.
• Build client relationships and lead presentations, design discussions, status updates, and innovation activities.
• Collaborate with architects, validation, testing, and other internal expertise teams while mentoring delivery teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT, or another computer-related discipline.
• 6+ years of relevant consulting-industry experience delivering medium- to large-scale technology solutions.
• Strong experience leading the delivery of one or multiple projects.
• Extensive experience with big data and cloud technologies.
• Fluency in English and Japanese is required.
• Strong client communication, supervisory, coaching, troubleshooting, and hands-on project management skills.

• Experience analyzing and troubleshooting interactions between databases, operating systems, and applications.
