Principal Platform Engineer (GCP): Defining and evolving the cloud architecture strategy for the hirify.global Platform with an accent on GCP, Kubernetes, and SRE operational models. Location: Remote (US) or hybrid at campuses in MN, AZ, or FL. Must be based in the US; no visa sponsorship or F-1 STEM OPT extension provided.

Salary: $155,500 - $225,400 / year

What you will do

• Define and maintain the target-state architecture for the hirify.global Platform in GCP.
• Design and implement complex cloud solutions across compute, storage, IAM, and networking (VPC).
• Establish the SRE function, including the operationalization of SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets.
• Drive the adoption of infrastructure as code, CI/CD, GitOps, and automated remediation strategies.
• Ensure architecture alignment with enterprise security and healthcare regulatory requirements (HIPAA, HITRUST).
• Provide hands-on guidance and mentorship to teams implementing cloud-native and Kubernetes solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT or 10+ years of full-stack engineering experience (with 5+ years in a principal capacity).
• Principal-level expertise in Hyperscale Cloud Environments, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Deep experience in DevOps, CI/CD principles, and enterprise information security.
• Experience with healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 and FHIR.
• Valid US work authorization; the company will not sponsor or transfer visas.
