What you will do

  • Lead diverse teams with expertise in retail, technical sales, sustainable dairying, and farm relationship management.
  • Drive an integrated regional approach to ensure the long-term sustainable growth of milk for the Co-op.
  • Serve as the primary connector between regional teams and Farm Source central teams.
  • Champion best practices and drive operational excellence across the region.
  • Develop talent, foster team engagement, and deliver on key performance objectives.
  • Influence regional strategy as part of a succession pathway into the Regional Head position.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to build strong relationships and unify diverse teams.
  • Strong communication and planning skills to keep teams aligned and focused on farmer support.
  • Adaptability and a proactive approach to continuous improvement and change.
  • Ability to take ownership, set clear goals, and empower team members to succeed.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to influence high-level decisions.
  • Must be based in or able to work on-site in Hamilton & North Waikato.
