What you will do

• Manage and operate Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters, including resource tuning and autoscaling.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (YAML) and ArgoCD.
• Build container images using Docker multi-stage builds and manage them via Azure Container Registry.
• Implement and operate Istio Service Mesh, focusing on mTLS, traffic routing, and JWT policies.
• Manage Azure infrastructure components including Application Gateway, API Management, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
• Ensure system security and monitoring using Azure Key Vault, Microsoft Defender, Azure Monitor, and Application Insights.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience managing AKS in production environments.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes concepts (deployments, services, HPA, rolling updates).
• Proven experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices.
• Experience with Istio configuration and service mesh architectures.
• Solid understanding of Azure networking and security (VNet, private endpoints, WAF, firewalls).

Nice to have

• Experience with Imperva WAF and advanced API security setups.
• Deep knowledge of Azure API Management.
• Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400).
• Experience supporting high-availability microservice platforms.
• Familiarity with zero-trust architectures and security hardening.
