TL;DR

Senior Consultant Energy - Pricing & Sourcing (Energy): Developing commercial strategies for energy suppliers and trading organizations with an accent on pricing, sourcing, and portfolio management. Focus on optimizing financial results, managing vendor selection for IT systems, and navigating the energy transition.

Location: Hybrid; Must be based in the Netherlands (Non-Dutch speakers and those requiring work permits are not accepted)

What you will do

  • Collaborate with energy suppliers and trading organizations to navigate the transition to the New Energy Reality.
  • Optimize the financial results of sales and sourcing departments through targeted interventions.
  • Define reorganizational improvements and lead vendor selection processes for relevant IT systems.
  • Contribute to investment decisions for deploying new activities or increasing business process efficiency.
  • Support team development via business development, recruitment, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree with highly developed analytical skills.
  • At least 4 years of experience as a consultant.
  • Professional experience in the commercial domain of the energy sector (suppliers or trading organizations).
  • Expertise in energy sourcing, pricing, trading, and portfolio management.
  • Fluency in English and Dutch is required.
  • Must have valid work authorization for the Netherlands (no work permit provided).

Nice to have

  • Proficiency in French and German.
  • Strong interest in data and AI-related topics.
