TL;DR
Trainee Site Engineer (Infrastructure): Learning all aspects of site engineering for overhead line and EHV underground cable projects with an accent on site management coordination and client liaison. Focus on overseeing the setting People to Work process and contributing to the UK's transition to net zero and network capacity.
Location: Predominantly site-based across England, Wales, or Scotland. Flexibility to travel and be away from home for periods of time is required.

What you will do
- Learn site engineering and oversee site management coordination of foremen, linesmen, and sub-contractors.
- Manage the People to Work process, including onboarding and site inductions.
- Maintain relationships with team members and stakeholders, and negotiate minor changes with sponsors or customers.
- Report progress regularly, solve problems, and draft project documents.
- Use tools to monitor project plans, hours, budgets, and spending.
- Communicate project information to the wider team and clients.
Requirements
- GCSE/A Level/T Level in a practical subject along with functional Maths and English.
- Demonstrated project delivery experience or awareness.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel and work flexibly across England, Wales, or Scotland.
