What you will do

• Design, develop, and deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers and engineers to define requirements and strategies.
• Promote technical excellence through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and adherence to secure coding practices.
• Lead complex technical assignments and guide team members through structured projects.
• Identify and mitigate risks while strengthening controls and governance within the platform.

Requirements

• Must be based in Prague
• Strong commercial experience with Core Java SE 8+ and the Spring ecosystem.
• Practical experience with containerized technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
• Deep understanding of design patterns, object-oriented design, and database design fundamentals.
• Experience with messaging, JDBC, Hibernate, and XML processing.
• Ability to influence decision-making and lead collaborative assignments.

Nice to have

• Experience with Middleware including MQ, JMS, and Web Services (SOAP & REST API).
• Familiarity with investment banking, markets, or equity derivative domains.
• Background in DevOps practices, CI/CD, and automated testing.
