What you will do

• Develop and maintain core runtime components of JBoss EAP, focusing on security, authentication, and authorization.
• Design and implement innovative features and enhancements for the WildFly application server.
• Fine-tune and sustain existing code for optimal performance and stability.
• Guarantee quality through rigorous testing and debugging, troubleshooting complex conformance, performance, and integration issues.
• Collaborate closely with fellow developers, designers, product managers, and other EAP teams.

Requirements

• Strong background in Java software development, understanding of key security concepts: Authentication, Authorization, SSL/TLS, Secure Credential Storage.
• Demonstrated excellence in problem-solving with the ability to tackle complex issues.
• Experience with middleware platforms or application server development, particularly in core runtime and security components.
• Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and modern cloud ecosystems.
• Ability to work seamlessly as part of a collaborative team.
• Self-starter with a proactive mindset, able to initiate and drive projects independently.
• Required Education: High School Diploma/GED
• English: B2 required
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid in Brno, Czech Republic

Nice to have

• Experience contributing to open source projects, especially those related to Java EE/Jakarta EE, JBoss / WildFly projects.
• Bachelor's Degree.
