TL;DR
SAP BOE Technical Specialist (SAP BusinessObjects/Azure): Managing end-to-end SAP BusinessObjects content, semantic modeling, and platform administration with an accent on integrating BI with modern cloud data platforms and AI-driven analytics. Focus on designing delivery blueprints, executing high-quality reporting solutions, and optimizing performance for Snowflake and Databricks workloads.
Location: Hybrid (Mexico City or Guadalajara) - Office attendance required one day per week

What you will do
- Lead end-to-end SAP BusinessObjects content ownership, semantic modeling, and platform administration.
- Integrate SAP BOE with cloud data platforms including Azure, Snowflake, and Databricks to enable AI-driven analytics.
- Translate business requirements into technical blueprints and develop enterprise semantic models.
- Design, build, and maintain UNV and UNX universes using UDT and IDT.
- Manage and deploy custom Tomcat and Apache environments in clustered Windows and Linux setups.
- Configure AD authentication, SAML-based SSO, and Okta integration for the BO application.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in large-scale, regulated BI environments, primarily within the Insurance domain.
- Deep technical expertise in SAP Business Objects Enterprise 4.3 / 2025 and Crystal Reports.
- Hands-on experience with Tomcat, Apache, and managing Azure virtual machines.
- Strong proficiency in advanced SQL tuning for complex analytical workloads.
- Must be based in Mexico City or Guadalajara.
Nice to have
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI.
- Additional Azure Cloud certifications or skills.
