TL;DR

Location: Remote (anywhere in the US); 10–20% travel; onsite required during the first week for onboarding in Columbus, OH

What you will do
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations to customers and prospective customers
- Support sales teams with technical demos, including unique workflows and third-party integrations
- Plan and execute presentations for enterprise deals and participate in on-site demonstrations (10–20% travel)
- Use innovative, demonstrable technology to identify additional prospect needs during the sales cycle
- Collect and document competitive intelligence and communicate client/prospect needs to the product team
- Organize themes and trends from prospects and share them with executive and product stakeholders
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar role
- Knowledge of or direct experience in software development
- Practical experience with building or industrial automation systems
- Proven ability to integrate various software packages effectively
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Ability to quickly establish relationships and solve problems by listening, identifying core needs, and aligning solutions
