What you will do

• Monitor database health, promptly identifying and resolving operational issues.
• Provision and manage database infrastructure using Terraform or Ansible.
• Develop comprehensive technical documentation, including SOPs, runbooks, and automation playbooks.
• Perform complex SQL query optimization and performance tuning.
• Manage costs, usage analysis, and budget forecasting for cloud database services.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of scalable data solutions.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in cloud database services such as Redshift, AWS Aurora, and RDS/PG.
• Experience building and maintaining scalable real-time database systems.
• Proven ability to analyze and optimize complex SQL queries and automate alerting.
• Deep knowledge of relational database internals, including locking, consistency, and recovery paths.
• Must be based in Poland.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, Databricks, and Apache Airflow.
