MEAL Officer (Monitoring & Evaluation): Implementing monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning activities for the EU-funded SOSAN Project with an accent on high-quality data collection and analysis. Location: Onsite in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State, Nigeria. Candidates residing in Kebbi State are strongly encouraged to apply.
Salary: Annual Gross Salary 8,016,695 NGN

What you will do
- Develop and strengthen participatory MELSA systems aligned with international and Oxfam programme standards.
- Manage indicator tracking through project management information systems (MIS) and ensure high data quality.
- Conduct outcome harvesting to track the impacts of project interventions.
- Build the capacity of Oxfam staff and implementing partners in planning, monitoring, evaluation, and learning.
- Establish and manage complaints and response mechanisms (CRM) at project locations to ensure beneficiary feedback.
- Liaise with government ministries, NGOs, and research institutions to support project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, or a relevant qualification.
- Minimum 4 years of experience designing learning and monitoring systems for EU-funded or other institutional donor programmes.
- Proficiency in statistical software such as SPSS, STATA, Excel, and Access.
- Experience using mobile field data collection tools including ODK, Kobo Toolbox, and GIS mapping.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Must be based in or be able to work from Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State.
