Execution Quant (Python/Rust/C++/Java): Own execution quality end-to-end by building execution reporting infrastructure, developing execution signals, and optimizing order execution with an accent on low-latency order book analysis and transaction cost analysis. Focus on establishing ground-up metrics, diagnosing execution quality issues from reports, and reducing trading costs across global markets.

What you will do

• Analyze execution reports to identify poor trades and execution quality issues.
• Build execution signals to improve performance, including order-specific metrics and toxicity analysis.
• Establish execution reporting infrastructure from the ground up.
• Perform low-latency order book analysis to optimize execution across global markets.
• Run pre- and post-trade transaction cost analysis (TCA) to benchmark execution and find cost reduction opportunities.
• Collaborate with trading and data engineering teams to improve infrastructure and execution controls.

Requirements

• Strong command of execution signals and low-latency order book analysis.
• Proven experience building execution models.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one low-level language (Rust, C++, or Java).
• Background in prop trading (ideally equities or currencies; futures also considered on the trading side, not risk).
• Degree in physics, math, statistics, econometrics, or computer science.
• Willingness to work remotely with East Coast US–Singapore time zone alignment.
