Location: Mexico City, Mexico (Remote)

Salary: 25k–30k MXN gross per month

What you will do

• Create and maintain PBR materials and surface treatments aligned with the project’s visual direction
• Build and manage Substance Designer graphs for tileable materials, trims, and surface detail
• Collaborate with Environment Artists to ensure consistent and effective material integration across in-game environments
• Develop and document material workflows, standards, and libraries
• Track and address material-related bugs during production and post production

Requirements

• English: B2 or higher required
• Must submit a strong portfolio with recent work demonstrating material and surface creation (required)
• 3+ years of experience in video game production with at least one shipped title
• Proficiency in Substance Designer and Substance Painter
• Solid understanding of PBR workflows and material creation pipelines
• Technical proficiency in game art workflows (UV layout, texel density, texture optimization)
