Rendering Programmer Intern

Location: Hybrid in Kraków or Warsaw, Poland

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable rendering code.
• Implement new rendering techniques and improve existing ones.
• Profile and optimize C++ and GPU code.
• Help maintain code quality and organization.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with the development team.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of at least one graphics API: DirectX 11/12, OpenGL, Vulkan, or Metal.
• Basic understanding of HLSL, GLSL, or MSL.
• Practical knowledge of rendering or computer graphics, demonstrated through personal projects, Game Jams, hackathons, or open-source contributions.
• Availability for team discussions and collaborative work, preferably during the same hours as the team.
• Desire to create games and join hirify.global after successfully completing the internship.

Nice to have

• Portfolio of personal projects on GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
• Knowledge of C++11, C++14, or C++17 standards.
• Game development experience.
• Passion for gaming.
