Senior Game Programmer (C++)

Location: Onsite in Warsaw or Wrocław, Poland

hirify.global is a Polish video game company developing open-world action games, including the Call of Juarez and Dying Light franchises.

What you will do

• Design and iterate gameplay features in collaboration with game designers and animators.
• Own and develop moment-to-moment gameplay mechanics.
• Create and prototype gameplay systems and related tools.
• Debug, profile, and optimize gameplay for performance, responsiveness, stability, and cross-platform operation.
• Mentor programmers through code reviews, best-practice sharing, and technical support.

Requirements

• 6+ years of game development experience focused on gameplay mechanics, 3Cs, or systems.
• Excellent knowledge of C++ and Unreal Engine.
• Experience with networked gameplay, large gameplay systems, 3D mathematics, and cross-platform optimization.
• Experience collaborating with designers and animators in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Strong understanding of game feel, organization, communication, and time management.
• Very good command of English and willingness to work onsite in Poland.

Nice to have

• Experience with GAS.
• At least one shipped AAA title based on Unreal Engine developed from start to finish.
• Computer science education.
• Experience mentoring fellow programmers.
