What you will do

  • Monitor SIEM technologies and analyze log files to identify unusual or suspect activity.
  • Triage and validate security alerts from Managed Detection and Response (MDR) tools.
  • Perform root cause analysis for incident event data and develop corresponding remediation strategies.
  • Conduct threat intelligence research and recommend appropriate security solutions to clients.
  • Coordinate with clients regarding security alerts, project updates, and statuses.
  • Utilize the SpearTip ShadowSpear Platform for security operations.

Requirements

  • Must be based in St. Louis, USA (Hybrid work format).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree (0+ years exp) OR Cybersecurity Technician Apprentice certification (2+ years exp) OR High School Diploma (3+ years exp) in IT.
  • Proficiency with MS Office.
  • English: Strong verbal and written communication skills required.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Incident Response, Application Security, Threat Defense, and Vulnerability Management.
  • Industry certifications such as Security+, CEH, CRISC, GIAC, or Penetration Tester+.
  • Hands-on experience with SentinelOne.
