What you will do

• Lead security investigations, incident response, and threat hunting across enterprise environments.
• Analyze and triage security alerts from SIEM, EDR, identity, and cloud sources to drive recovery efforts.
• Maintain and optimize Rapid7 InsightIDR detection capabilities and response workflows.
• Manage BeyondTrust PasswordSafe to enforce least-privilege access and secure privileged accounts.
• Secure workloads in a hybrid Azure environment, focusing on identity, logging, and access controls.
• Evaluate and operate AI-enabled security tools and manage AI-related security risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5-8 years of related experience.
• Must be based in or able to work in Libertyville, IL (Hybrid).
• Working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning concepts applied to cybersecurity.

Nice to have

• Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, SSCP, or AZ-500.
• Knowledge of frameworks: SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, HIPAA, and GDPR.
• Experience with Azure security concepts and identity/access management.
