What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using TypeScript and Node.js.
• Migrate applications and services from on-premises infrastructure to AWS using cloud-native best practices.
• Build and maintain serverless solutions utilizing Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, EventBridge, SQS, and SNS.
• Implement complex integrations and processing workflows for accounting, tax, and payment data.
• Write and maintain automated unit tests using Jest to ensure high code quality.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver high-impact features.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional development experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Practical expertise in AWS services and designing serverless architectures.
• Extensive experience with the Serverless Framework for deployment and configuration.
• Solid knowledge of event-driven architectures and common integration patterns.
• Spanish: Native level required.
• English: Intermediate level required.

Nice to have

• Background in financial services, accounting, taxation, or payment systems.
• Experience with cloud migration strategies (lift-and-shift or re-architecture).
• Knowledge of AWS observability and monitoring tools like CloudWatch, X-Ray, or OpenTelemetry.
