What you will do

• Plan and implement security measures to meet federal compliance and protect computer systems, networks, and data.
• Analyze and document security risks, breaches, and cyber security incidents to improve security posture.
• Develop and implement network disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
• Oversee the monitoring of computer networks for security issues and proactively address potential threats.
• Install and operate security software, including firewalls and data encryption programs.
• Stay informed about federal security trends and recommend enhancements for security posture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of Cyber Security experience, specifically in federal contract environments.
• Strong knowledge of FedRamp and other relevant federal regulations.
• Expertise in security protocols, cryptography, authentication, and authorization.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and security technologies.
• Must be authorized to work in the US to support federal contracts.

Nice to have

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH.
