TL;DR
Cleared Cyber Security Engineer (Cybersecurity/EDR): Deploying, integrating, operating, and sustaining endpoint detection and response systems for a critical U.S. public-sector customer with an accent on Trellix technologies, cyber defense, and enterprise security operations. Focus on designing deployment and migration plans, troubleshooting integrations, developing security configurations and playbooks, and maintaining system health in a large-scale operational environment.
Location: 100% onsite at the customer site in Fort Meade, Maryland, United States

What you will do
- Deploy, integrate, operate, and maintain and third-party endpoint security systems focused on endpoint detection and response.
- Create technical project, deployment, migration, testing, and system design plans for next-generation customer capabilities.
- Configure, tune, and develop policies, standard operating procedures, playbooks, and engineering artifacts.
- Perform development, integration, pre-deployment, post-deployment, certification, accreditation, and authorization activities.
- Monitor system health and availability, troubleshoot technical issues, review logs, perform triage, and coordinate problem resolution.
- Advise customer organizations on cybersecurity matters and collaborate with end users, government stakeholders, support teams, and management.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph is required.
- Active DoD 8570 or DoD 8140 compliant cybersecurity certification is required.
- 5+ years of technical experience in cybersecurity operations, cybersecurity engineering, systems engineering, or Windows and Linux administration.
- Experience with Endpoint Security, ePolicy Orchestrator, DLP, EDR, Threat Intelligence Exchange, and Data Exchange Layer.
- Experience with Active Directory, databases, virtualization, cloud services such as AWS or Azure, and enterprise networks.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related technical field.
