TL;DR

Payment Operations Analyst II (Fintech): Managing and reconciling payment transactions and providing operational support for financial institutions with an accent on ACH settlement and risk mitigation. Focus on analyzing operational data, ensuring compliance, and optimizing payment workflows for the PayCenter division.

Location: Must live within approximately a 70-mile radius of office locations in Allen, TX; Birmingham, AL; Cedar Falls, IA; Charlotte, NC; Lenexa, KS; Louisville, KY; Monett, MO, or Springfield, MO.

What you will do

  • Provide high-level customer support for operations to internal teams, financial institutions, and partners.
  • Process daily requests to ensure timeframe adherence and minimize financial risk.
  • Perform daily reconciliation of ACH and settlement accounts.
  • Analyze operational data and generate reports to support business objectives.
  • Conduct compliance reviews of various applications and processes.
  • Deliver operational training and guidance on payment workflows and best practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a financial institution, payment operations, or analyst role.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, including formulas, graphs, and tables.
  • Flexibility to work hours beyond a typical 8-5pm timeframe to cover continental US time zones.
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced, changing environment using problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience with hirify.global products or payment applications.
  • Knowledge of Zelle, FedNow, and/or RTP products.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
