Location: Must be based in Milford, Michigan (Hybrid: expected to report to office at least 3 times a week)

What you will do

• Lead the creation and implementation of product development and release plans for embedded control products.
• Manage part number proliferation for software, calibration, and hardware components.
• Track project status, escalate risks, and drive mitigation efforts to ensure quality and timing.
• Lead product issue investigations and drive continuous process improvements.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor team members in areas of strong proficiency.
• Support agile meeting ceremonies and cross-functional collaboration with vehicle manufacturing teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or Mathematics).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded controls development (hardware, software, calibration, or testing).
• Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
• Proven experience in Root Cause Analysis.
• Understanding of HIL Bench Testing.
• Strong project management, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• 5+ years of automotive industry experience.
• Knowledge of AUTOSAR, diagnostic parameters (DIDs, RIDs, DTCs), and GVDP.
• Experience with Agile Product Development and Generative AI.
