Location: Remote (Monterrey, Mexico)

What you will do

  • Guide technical direction and implementation from conceptualization to deployment within a defined architecture.
  • Evaluate trade-offs between correctness, robustness, performance, and customer impact to ensure the right solution.
  • Lead technical documentation, repository management practices, and conduct rigorous code reviews.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to align architecture with product strategy.
  • Mentor Senior Engineers and contribute to the Engineering Practice community through CoPs.
  • Address complex bug fixes with a focus on security, performance, and reliability.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of web development experience.
  • Proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, AWS, and Docker.
  • Working knowledge of frontend technologies (JS, CSS, HTML).
  • Expertise in OOP, SOLID principles, OWASP, and high-level design (UML, C4, or ArchiMate).
  • Experience leading teams using Agile software development methodologies.
  • High level of English proficiency required for interaction with a globally-based team.

Nice to have

  • Experience integrating Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) solutions.
  • Ability to set technical strategy and direct implementation across multiple teams or an entire product.
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Native applications and non-relational databases.
