What you will do

• Design and maintain scalable backend services using Ruby on Rails to support the SDWAN platform.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs for frontend and external service consumption.
• Collaborate with React/TypeScript engineers, product owners, and DevOps teams.
• Optimize application performance and scalability in a multi-cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Support containerized deployments using Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE) and Docker.
• Ensure high code quality through testing, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails backend development.
• Proficiency in REST API design and integration with SQL databases like PostgreSQL.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience working in agile teams using GitHub and Jira.
• Ability to translate product requirements into reliable backend features and ensure production readiness.
• Must be based in Ukraine.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the Go programming language for service integration and microservices.
• Familiarity with time-series or analytical stores like ClickHouse.
