EU Risk and Assurance Manager (Compliance)

EU Risk and Assurance Manager (ESG/Risk Management): Ensuring compliance with EU ESG Ratings Regulations (EU ESGRR) and overseeing risk management strategies across EU operations with an accent on the EU ESGRR Risk and Control Framework. Focus on identifying and mitigating operational risks, monitoring regulatory changes, and developing risk management training for internal stakeholders.

Location: Hybrid (EU operations), requiring office attendance at least two days per week

What you will do

• Implement robust enterprise risk management practices across EU operations.
• Establish tools and processes to track risks and compliance relating to EU ESGRR.
• Monitor risks and controls based on the ESGRR framework, providing continuous feedback and escalation.
• Perform quantitative and qualitative risk analysis to ensure threats are documented and mitigated.
• Challenge and support first-line managers in identifying emerging risks.
• Develop and lead training on risk management and control design techniques.

Requirements

• Post-qualification experience in risk management, business processes, or internal controls (finance, audit, or equivalent).
• Proven experience in quantitative and qualitative risk analysis.
• Strong understanding of Enterprise Risk and experience working within complex organizations.
• Must be based in the EU to fulfill hybrid office requirements.
• Ability to prepare concise reports and communicate effectively with senior leadership and regulators.
