DevOps Engineer (Weekend) (Fintech)

Location: Remote (USA). Must be based in the United States (specifically in CA, CO, CT, DE, FL, GA, IL, KS, ME, MD, MI, NV, NJ, NY, NC, PA, SC, or UT; other states may be evaluated).

Salary: $90,000 – $115,000

What you will do

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to build and maintain infrastructure supporting operated platforms.
• Monitor scalable solutions across both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Debug build systems and continuously improve performance through metrics and analysis.
• Perform capacity monitoring and root cause analysis for incidents to ensure high performance scaling.
• Work with information security teams to mitigate software and hardware vulnerabilities.
• Manage the planning, installation, testing, and maintenance of enterprise and production systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, or Electrical Engineering.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with distributed systems and network architectures.
• Deep knowledge of Linux internals and proficiency with the Unix command line.
• Strong experience with Python and shell scripting.
• Experience with DevOps tools: Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Artifactory, Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Availability to work a specific shift: Saturday and Sunday (6 am – 6 pm ET) and two weekdays (8 am – 5 pm ET).
