Location: Must be based in Bogotá, Colombia (Hybrid: minimum 4 days per week in office)

What you will do

• Write, timestamp, and perform quality control on closed captioning and subtitle files for broadcast, Peacock, and Netflix.
• Transcribe Spanish content with 100% accuracy in punctuation, accentuation, and grammar.
• Translate television programs and promotional materials into native-sounding interpretations.
• Conduct quality control on English and Spanish text files to eliminate grammatical or contextual errors.
• Utilize AI tools like Dragon Naturally Speaking and Stanza to accelerate transcription and translation processes.
• Prepare quality reports on both internal products and external providers.

Requirements

• Fluent in English and Spanish (both written and verbal).
• Deep knowledge of Spanish language standards and RAE grammatical rules.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Prior experience with speech-to-text converters and AI programs (e.g., AWS).
• Knowledge of FCC closed captioning regulations.
• Must be willing to work in Colombia.

Nice to have

• Experience with Stanza or similar timestamping software.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
