TL;DR
Technical Automation QA (Playwright/TypeScript): Designing and evolving automation frameworks for a digital education platform with an accent on Playwright, TypeScript, and AI-driven testing. Focus on building scalable test suites, integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines, and implementing MCP-based automation components.
Location: Singapore; remote work is available in locations without Constructor offices, while locations with offices follow a hybrid schedule of 2 days in-office and 3 days remote.

What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable Playwright and TypeScript automation frameworks for web and API testing.
- Define test automation strategies, processes, and best practices across projects.
- Develop reusable regression, smoke, and integration test suites and utilities.
- Integrate automated testing into Jenkins and GitLab CI pipelines and collaborate with development and DevOps teams on reliable test environments and data.
- Apply white-box and gray-box testing across frontend and backend components.
- Adopt AI-assisted testing, automation intelligence, and MCP-based automation components while mentoring QA colleagues and improving performance, reliability, and reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of QA and automation experience, including 2+ years with Playwright and TypeScript.
- Experience building test automation frameworks from scratch.
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript and/or Python, SDLC, QA methodologies, and automation design principles.
- Experience with REST API testing, SQL, relational databases, Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Git.
- Fluent English is required, both written and verbal.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI-powered testing tools, model-based testing, or MCP architecture.
- Familiarity with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Appium, performance testing, or security testing.
- Experience in Agile or Kanban environments.
