Sr. SW Test Engineer (QA Automation)

What you will do

• Plan, design, execute, and automate testing for Java, .NET Core, Python, and full-stack B2B IAM applications.
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, Postman/Newman, JMeter, Java, and Python.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, API, performance, smoke, sanity, and post-deployment testing.
• Troubleshoot front-end, back-end, database, API, middleware, infrastructure, and production-like environments.
• Support security patch validation, vulnerability remediation, release readiness, deployment validation, rollback activities, and post-release testing.
• Contribute to monitoring, log analysis, root cause analysis, CI/CD, DevOps tooling, test utilities, and AI-assisted automation.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or 5 years of relevant experience without a degree.
• Hands-on experience in software quality engineering, test automation, full-stack application testing, release validation, and platform support.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, shell scripting, or similar languages.
• Experience with RESTful services, microservices, relational databases, Selenium, Playwright, Postman/Newman, JMeter, JUnit, TestNG, or comparable tools.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, source control, containerization, cybersecurity controls, vulnerability management, and Agile delivery practices.
• Strong analytical, debugging, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with JBoss Web Server, Apache Tomcat, Red Hat Linux, MS SQL Server, LDAP, Active Directory, and Windows.
• Familiarity with SonarQube, Checkmarx, FindBugs, Black Duck, Veracode, Fortify, Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Jira, Confluence, or Zephyr.
• Exposure to generative AI, prompt engineering, agentic tools, and AI-assisted testing or coding practices.
