Security Engineer

TL;DR

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise security solutions and controls.
• Monitor security systems, alerts, and logs using SIEM tools to investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and system hardening activities.
• Manage firewall configurations, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and endpoint security.
• Secure cloud infrastructure environments including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to enhance the overall security posture.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity or Security Engineering.
• Strong proficiency in network, system, and cloud security.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM tools, firewalls, and endpoint protection.
• Experience securing Windows and Linux environments.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Information Technology.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CCSP.
• Scripting or automation experience using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
