What you will do

• Administer and maintain high-performance computing (HPC) clusters and high-end Linux workstations.
• Manage high-speed parallel filesystems and job scheduler configurations.
• Support containerized HPC workflows to enable user-defined environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for HPC clusters using tools like Jacamar.
• Monitor system health and proactively investigate performance issues.
• Collaborate with users to ensure infrastructure meets the needs of NASA spaceflight missions.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Linux system administration.
• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Residency is required.
• Experience with HPC job scheduler administration and parallel file storage.
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD workflows in an HPC context.
• Experience with containerization for HPC environments.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Lustre or GPFS parallel filesystems.
• Proficiency with SLURM job scheduling.
• Experience with RedHat-based distributions and configuration management tools like Ansible.
• Familiarity with InfiniBand networking and SPACK package manager.
• Experience integrating AI tooling into operational workflows.
