What you will do

• Run and stabilize finance operations across accounting, cash management, tax, and compliance.
• Manage monthly close, budgeting, and forecasting cycles to provide actionable insights for the leadership team.
• Oversee reporting to risk carriers and maintain regulatory obligations across NL, FR, and DE.
• Partner with the CEO and executive team on board materials and investor updates.
• Leverage SQL and AI tools to automate manual finance workflows and build custom reports.
• Lead first-year statutory audit preparation and manage payroll operations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in finance, combining Big 4 (audit/M&A) with operational finance in fast-paced tech companies.
• Proven experience running the full close-to-report cycle and optimizing underlying processes.
• Technical self-sufficiency in SQL, Excel modeling, and the use of AI tools.
• Strong ability to act as a commercial business partner across product, ops, and commercial teams.
• Must be based in Amsterdam for full-time on-site work.
